Edelbrock 1405 Performer 600 CFM Square Bore 4-Barrel Carburetor

The Edelbrock Performer Square Bore Air Valve Secondary Manual Choke New Carburetor features a two-piece, all-aluminum construction for cooler operating temperatures and less warping. Designed and calibrated for good street performance and fuel economy in 402 CID and larger engines with the Edelbrock Performer manifolds, it includes both timed and full vacuum ports for ignition advance. The carburetors use easily changed metering rods for precise tuning, and there are no gaskets below the fuel bowl level for fewer leaks and no plastic parts or power valves to blow out.

The Edelbrock Performer covers the replacement or repair of the product only and does not cover the cost of removal and installation. It has a Bore Diameter of 1.44 for the Primary Bore and 1.69 for the Secondary Bore, and is designed and calibrated for optimum street performance in small-block and some big-block engines.

The Performer manual choke carburetor can be matched with a variety of manifolds, including Edelbrock Performer, Performer EPS, Performer RPM, RPM Air-Gap, Torker II and other brands of similar design. It includes both timed and full vacuum ports for ignition advance, and an electric choke can be added if needed.

The carburetor comes with Metering Jets of .100 for the Primary and .095 for the Secondary, Metering Rods of .070 x .047, and a Step-Up Spring of orange (5" Hg). Carb Studs can be used if needed.

The Edelbrock Performer manifold offers the latest technology in dual-plane high rise design, and is not equipped with EGR and has no provisions for exhaust heated chokes. It works with manual or electric choke carb, and accepts late-model water neck, air conditioning, alternator and HEI equipment, but will not fit under stock Corvette hood.
