Edelbrock's AVS2 Off-Road Carburetor #1916 with Electric Choke is a specialized 650 CFM version of the proven #1906 street carb, designed to deliver near-EFI-like drivability. Featuring Annular Flow Booster technology, this carburetor provides an even fuel distribution into the airflow stream, eliminating flat spots and significantly improving throttle response in the low- to mid-RPM range without compromising top-end power.

The AVS2 Off-Road carburetor is equipped with a new spring-loaded needle and seat, along with a spring-loaded anti-syphon ball in the accelerator pump circuit, ensuring superior fuel control over rough terrain. This design effectively prevents the common issue of fuel drip experienced with standard carburetors in off-road situations.

Unlike traditional carburetors, the AVS2 Off-Road is unaffected by engine backfires, as it does not have power valves that can be blown out. This feature contributes to its reliable performance.
